How to split a PDF into separate pages

Splitting lets you pull some pages out of a big PDF, or save every page as its own file. Use it when you only need pages 3 to 5 of a long document, or when you want to send one page by itself.

Open the Split PDF tool

Step by step

  1. Open the Split PDF tool and choose your PDF. You will see a small picture of every page with its number.
  2. Pick what you want: keep only some pages as one new PDF, or save every page as a separate PDF in a ZIP file.
  3. For the first option, type the pages to keep, for example 1-3,5. That keeps pages 1, 2, 3 and 5.
  4. Press Start and download the result.
